Hayward 5500TCBL Viio Turbo Pressure Pool Cleaner, Black Review

We've used the Hayward Viio's for years - they were white - and blended right into the pool - you hardly saw them. They worked great! But when one needed to be replaced and we ended up with a black model, we got rid of it immediately.Who wants a big black thing crawling around their pool?We spent a lot of money designing a pool with waterfall, landscaping, and other artistic elements.I don't have any idea who thought black was a good idea, but it's time to go back to the drawing board!

Raindrip R520D Watering Landscape Kit Review

The product pictured is the sprinkler kit, not the drip system that it is titled or described as.I did not receive what I was expecting, but it isn't too big a deal to me as I was going to use one kit and add on parts of the other kit for my garden. The picture needs to be changed to accurately reflect the product.

Gilmour Telescoping High Rise Sprinkler 894 Review

Having seen similar items locally (but at a much higher price), I couldn't resist the price Amazon offered, and sure enough a couple days later a rather large box was on my doorstep. When I opened it up, I saw what appeared to be a bit smaller and lighter weight than I imagined (though consistent with the facts provided), but I quickly expanded the telescoping shaft and staked it into the ground. Many other sprinklers fail to deliver the promised range, so I was surprised to find it exceed the stated coverage area (quickly fixed by dialing down the spigot).

All things considered, I'm very happy with this sprinkler, and I'm sure it will get the job done in the garden this summer.I docked it a star for being rather lightly built (no issues thus far).

Sacred Cantatas Bwv 41 42 [Import] Review

I believe all Bach cantatas not just the well known belong in the collection of all who love classical music. I have found that they are concentrated masterpieces. And each one is completely different. I am enamored of Rilling's cycle because of the complete dedication he and his performers give to each work they perform. The only people who will not like Rilling are those who insist on period instruments( I have tried Gardiner and one Koopman but I like Rilling the best) ) I love the booklets that explain each canata and what to look for in them in order to best appreciate Bach's mastery of finding the best way to express the words.
Since the BWV numbers are not sequential this disc contains works from different parts of Bach's life.
BMV 41 Be praised now, O Lord Jesus Christ is a chorale cantata performed at New Year's originally is striking for it's soprano aria accompanied by oboes where she sweetly asks God that her new year begin and end with a "hallelujah singing", a tenor aria accompanied by cello and piccolo that brought tears to my eyes and a powerful concluding chorus using a full orchestra.
BWV 42 The evening though, Of the very same Sabbath was performed on the first Sunday after Easter begins with a concerto like string sinfonia contrasting with oboes and bassoons that is quite beautiful. This is followed by a twelve minute alto aria "When two or three are assembled are for Jesus's precious name which is one of the most stirring pieces of music I have ever heard. Unfortunately I only know that Marga Hoeffgen or Julia Hamari are responsible for this perfect performance. I am still trembling. This is followed by a shorter bass aria and chorale which is notable because it was the only cantata mentioning the good o life on earth.
Buy as many Rilling Bach as you can afford

Please excuse typos i have a neurological disease.

18" 1 Hose Junior Hookah w/ CasePink Review

Cracked in a week for no apparent reason. Chrome finish is flaking off into the water and whatever metal is under the chrome colored paint gets terrible calcium deposits. Clogs with every use. Hooray! I didn't even get a pink case! It was black. lol

Raindrip R559DP Automatic Drip Watering Kit Review

OK first the pros, this will save you a lot of time compared with the "pull out the hose and spray it around" method. A lot of time. And your patio plants will love you for it too--I grow tomatoes, herbs, and flowers on my patio and all my little ones produced much better when I got this (with less water waste).

The downside... The attachment from the spigot to the machine always leaked. I couldnt' get it to fit perfectly right, despite trying everything in the manual. It would be really nice if they also included a rubber tube or something to fit over the threads and the end of the tube that attaches to the spigot to make sure nothing leaks.
The machine itself also conked out after about a year...I changed the battery and everything, but it never worked right again. I did buy another, but if there was another option out there I probably would have gone with a different brand.
