Is this a joke? Does anybody actually purchase this item at a 500% markup.. they sell for less than $10 everywhere else...
Overall review of 222RC Brass Impulse Sprinkler is good.However, keeping the unit in an up right position when fully functioning is a challenge as well as positioning the flow of the water. Also, the tripod itself is weak and therefore can easily bend out of shape if you are not careful.
It does the job and is much cheaper than having a plumber come out and install a locking faucet.
I've had this for one season so far, and this sprinkler works well.I've tried many sprinklers to find one that covers enough of my lawn to not make watering a pain, and this is finally it.
I have gone through several sets of plastic connectors and finally upgraded to brass. With an occasional washer change this will last forever!
This well manufactured and heavy duty nozzle is a one trick pony, but that one trick is done better than any other nozzle I've ever used. Well worth the money.
While this sprinkler needs sufficent water pressure to function properly, and I've only had it for 2-3 weeks, for the price it is a quality product that is exceedingly better than the $30+ garbage that you will find in Home Depot or Sears. Covers a hude radius. Customer service was excellent, for when I emailed them to try to determine the difference between this model and the model 999TP, they emailed me back the same day and advised that the TP is the same product but is sold to retailers in packages of 6.After reading the negative reviews on the TP model about feet bending, the sprinkler collapsing and disintegrating the first time they used it, I spent the extra $10 to get a second TD1 model, but cannot imagine that happening to either model, even if there is a difference. My only complaint is that the threads on the plastic coupler where you attach the hose can be easily stripped by the metal male end of the hose, so either avoid overtightening the hose or buy a plastic adapter with a shoutoff valve for $3, the shut-off valve on the adapter comes in handy when you have to move it.A lifetime replacement guarantee can't hurt, either.
I have been using this for a year for spot watering dry places in my yard.It's especially useful for small areas and it is much better than the Nelson equivalent which has serious uniformity problems.
works ok, very difficult to set time if you lose directions, i'd never buy again. human interface was designed by someone who never had to actually use it.

The cheap plastic arm that traces the heart shaped turbo shaft jumps right off and or pops out of the track. This happened within the first 2 hours of use. save your money
I have a bunch of these around my yard.They work great - when the work.You cannot put more than two of them in a series - the water pressure will be too low for more than two of them to work.I bought 4 recently and one was a dud.I bought 6 a few months ago and 2 were duds.Amazon sent me free replacements - thumbs up to Amazon customer service.Overall, I'm happy.Each throws the water about 25 feet max and you can easily set the radius.
Bought the dual one from Lee Valley.So simple, what could go wrong ?Doesn't ever turn the water off, though.It runs until I go out and turn it off manually.I guess the exercise is good for me.....
Brass, Zinc, Stainless Steel whatever If It Is made of rust proof Metal. A few years ago several times during Winter the PVC plastic pipe would freeze and bust plus the high Water pressure would cause the PVC connections to pop off, Then after leaving the Sears rubber hoses outside during the freezing cold I discovered these hoses do Not bust when frozen and are easy to defrost so naturally I replaced all My Water lines with Sears rubber hose but then Wal-Mart built a center a few miles away and new Water lines was put In from Bartlesville to the Wal-Mart center and now We buy Wal-Mart recycled sewer Water so now I buy bottled Water for drinking so I don't get sick the Water bill jumped from around $12.00 to $50.00 a month but they also Increased the pressure so now any type of plastic valve or connector will break then the Water bill Is $100.00 a month I have a well but I need a $400.00 pump I tried to get My southern Baptist relatives that don't Read well enough to Understand The Bible so they write their own books they Sound just like that YouTube sheeple of America video to spit the cost of the pump but they said we don't want to use that Iron well Water but It worked grate years ago other than having a little Iron In the Water. So anyway If You have super high Water pressure and don't want to pay a $100.00 Water bill this Is what to get.

When I ordered this part, I also ordered the Air Locker H581 steel hose clamps.These are small parts, no bigger or heavier than a U.S. quarter.They were sent together in a 4" X 6" padded envelope via USPS with a postage charge of $1.22 printed on the label.However, a separate shipping and handling fee was charged for EACH part.So I paid $3.05 to ship the Barb Adapter and an additional #3.05 to ship the hose clamps.That a bit excessive, don't you think?
My hands get COLD in the winter so the rubber handle on this nozzle is a life saver for me... no more gripping cold metal with wet hands in 40-degree temperatures.The o-ring that keeps these from leaking sometimes comes loose and water leaks from the base, but that's because I am constantly taking the nozzle on and off... it's bound to leak sometime.This is a 3-pack.It wasn't labled as such when I bought it.

I purchased this because of a neighbor's recommendation.I live in a townhouse/condo profile, and our residents try to water the common areas that are near our units.This is a remarkable sprinkler, with your complete ability to program it for time and for distance covered. In fact, I went and bought a second one so I can cover the front and the back lawn areas.
Call me stupid, but I've purchased this item at least 4 times in the last 3-4 years and every single one has filled with water and stopped working.Do NOT waste your hard-earned cash on this joke of a product.It should be taken off the market IMMEDIATELY or a class-action lawsuit filed!!!
Gets the jobe done and very fuel efficient. Easy to setup and start.Wish is had a longer hose for my application maybe 30-35'. It's not necessary to run at full throttle to get the job done and at slow speed you will get more work done with less gas.
I like it. It is powerful enough for my irrigation system, but I do have to take off the filter, otherwise it gets clogged. I can get about 80' or 85' diameter from it. On 40psi, I can get about 100'.
Search Amazon on "brass connectors garden hose parts", and you'll see a half dozen types of garden hose connectors by DoItBest Imports. I bought five different types, and was very impressed with the consistent quality.They are all 100% brass and sufficiently thick to last a lifetime.Those connectors that need a hose washer come with one or two of them, as needed.That's the only thing you should ever have to replace, unless the threads get damaged.
I bought two of these so that my little kids could turn on the hoses in our yard. They work great..and amazingly have zero leaks. Now our kids...and me...just push a button and the hose goes on. I love these!
The first turret in my life, so I can't really compare it to others, but I don't like how it leaks onto my hand and how I can either press the lever to get full pressure, OR use arrest the lever, but don't get full pressure.

A hose end bubbler is a simple but very helpful watering tool -- especially helpful for container gardening.The bubbler just stops the possibility of erosion from an uncontrolled hose discharge.It allows watering with full hose volume without eroding the soil in the container/etc.The water gently flows from the bubbler.This model works very well and is relatively inexpensive.The only negative is that it is constructed of thin plastic and is susceptible to damage.The manufacturer also makes a metal hose end bubbler for not much more money. One would think the metal unit is susceptible to corrosion -- which would be its negative.
I bought one in 2006 and it still works great....I just ordered another one so I would not have to take the one I have off one hose and move it to another hose....I leave my hoses and sprinklers outside all year. ( I live in Zone 8) ... I bought the plastic impulse Gilmour with the timer earlier this year but it moves too fast and I loose too much water to evaporation, it has always looked like it would break easily.
water does not come out as a gental shower but more like a waterfall. wanted to water newly planted seeds but almost washed them away!
Looks kinda cheap but seals nicely. Alright for the price I guess. Didn't receive pipe screen or instruction sheet although its pretty self explanatory. Case it came with ispoorly made but it'll do the job. But the thing that bugs me more is that its only 16" tall NOT 19".

This is a nice item and the metal base is heavy enough to keep it securely in-place. But the price Amazon is charging is outrageous. I picked it up for 1/2 the price at a local hardware store ... not on sale!
I bought this sprayer because it sounded like it was built really well, but when it arrived the tank had a dent in it.I was impressed by how solid it felt (especially the other components), but I decided to return it since it appeared as though it was easy to dent the walls of the tank.My sprayers will get banged around a bit.
Valves are very tight.Almost needed pliers the first time I turned them.They are starting to loosten up a little after operating 10 - 20 times.Otherwise well made from brass, so it should last a long time.
I opted for this unit over many of the others I researched for its mix of features, brand reputation, warranty, and price range. Once it was delivered I had it assembled and running in minutes. Initially, I was a bit disappointed to discover the number of plastic components that were part of the construction.It "felt cheap" as I was putting it together. I may find myself upgrading some of the plastic parts(such as the wand handle) to something better, or I may be forced to do so as these parts wear out. Once I had it running (it started on the first pull of the cord) and tested it out on some surfaces, it did exactly what I needed it to do. The low pressure additives (soap, chemicals) inlet hose works great.
I purchased this hose adapter because I wanted to have my water timer for my above ground sprinkler system on a hose connect instead of directly on the Y-split off the hose spigot.I picked this model because of the large On/Off toggle - much finger-friendlier than the tiny plastic cutoffs on most adapters.

This nozzle has a long name which it does NOT live up to.It's just an awkward feeling nozzle with less than adequate pressure. I have a cheapo nozzle (that drips) but it has much better pressure than this one. I thought that buying a more expensive nozzle would solve my problems, but, now I'm just stuck with this thing and will have to go back to my old cheapo. Don't get it.
I love this little sprinkler. With our community's 60 pound water pressure it covers a decent sized area. It throws pretty large drops so the water falls back onto the lawn instead of blowing or evaporating away. And it doesn't take long to saturate an area.

These break at the valve stem or handle. All of the plastic ones I tried have, this one included. Perhaps if you only plan to use it for a short time it would be OK but an all brass one will last much longer.
DO NOT BUY this hose; it doesn't stand up to what most people think as normal use. Within 6 weeks of purchase, the hose developed a half-dozen bulges in it -- it looked like a python that couldn't digest its meal. I have been gardening for nearly 30 years, and I have NEVER before had a hose do this. I took photos and emailed Apex; its rep said that was caused by leaving water pressure in the hose too long. Now, I know enough to shut off/empty the hose overnight -- but he said "If the hose is left on for several hours...kept under pressure for extended periods of time. Doing so may cause this to happen and eventually cause the hose to burst because the inner walls of the hose have been weakened by the pressure building up inside of it."And that voids the warranty.
despite the incomplete description, the product is at it appears--a quality brass hose coupling, female at both ends and allows one end to rotate independent of the other.
I bought the pressure washer just to do my vehicles and the side of my house, and it has exceeded my expectations. The only problem I've had so far is that I can't seem to get the intake valve to suck up soap water yet. The motor and pump work excellent though. I am so glad I got one on Amazon too; it was about $150.00 cheaper than going to the places in town.
I'm definitely glad we got the more powerful washer, although I might have been a bit happier with something even a little more powerful.
This is a fantastic nozzel.I searched for a long time to find one with a metal handle (most are plastic) and this is one of the few still made with metal parts througout.
These Melnor brass quick-connects are wonderful.I've been using them forseveral years now, and have a 46C on each faucet and on the distant end ofeach hose.I have a 47C on each nozzle, sprinker, hose-end sprayer, andhose.I was first "spoiled" by using similar fittings on my airlines and tools, and when I found out they were available for garden hoses,I "hooked myself up." Once you've had a hose with these things onit, you'll never go back.......
These hose quick connectors are the only ones I've found that don't leak and don't wear out in a few months.There is no rubber gasket to dry up or break, but because they are carefully machined, they seal completely - metal on metal.Kind of like the gasket-less faucet design that all better quality faucets use.
