It used to be that the name Nelson pretty much guaranteed quality. No longer. I purchased this item from Walmart and then was dumb enough to throw away the receipt. Problems:
1- The display is extremely difficult to read in the shade OR direct sunlight. Small thin alphanumeric characters. Very poor design.
2- The timer bypass valve to the hose delivered about 25% of the volume necessary for proper hose function. Very poor design!
3- Lastly, the timer programming simply didn't work! Programming is second nature to me - I built my own commercial radio station (engineering). That wasn't the problem.
Between design flaws and non-functioning, this item gets an F grade. Even if it DID work, the design is terrible.
