I bought one of these two years ago, seduced by the bright orange color. I paid locally retail about $50 thinking that if it was brass it must be good quality. Almost immediately I had to contend with inconsistent flow (I would set the end points for my odd shaped yard only to find that the next time I turned it on I would have to readjust it all over again). Sometimes it would get stuck at one end and not come back, but I would manage to get it working again. Finally after a long winter it was time for its third season...after 10 minutes fiddling trying to get it working properly for more than one cycle I realized it was dead and not going to oscillate any longer.
