Flexon FXG5850 5/8-Inch x 50-Foot Heavy Duty 5-Ply Forever Garden Hose Review

You can't go wrong by purchasing a USA-made product these days, hoping to help make our economy stronger.I can tell by comparing this Flexon hose to the last hose I purchased - which also had a Lifetime Warranty but was made by a different hose manufacturer - that this Flexon is made so much better.I have been using it a month and it has not kinked yet.The brass fittings are of superior quality and I like that the coupling is made larger for a better grip when tightening it onto the spigot (see the picture I uploaded).

If you do have an issue with the warranty, it requires you cut off both ends of the hose and mail those 2 pieces back to the manufacturer, along with the defective section of the hose.You will also need your receipt and the piece of cardboard from the hose stating it comes with a lifetime warranty.

This is not labeled as approved for drinking water but it also does not say it contains lead.The warning says:Do not drink from this hose.Garden hoses can come in contact with harmful chemicals sometimes, used with nozzles, garden sprayers or chemicals used on lawns.The inside of the hose is dark, damp, and warm, causing bacteria to form.It is recommended that you run water through the hose until the water is cool before use.

Since I don't drink out of my garden hose, this is a non-issue with me.
