Ames True Temper 2370500 Reel Easy Decorative Hose Reel Review

Don't buy this product. The feeder hose comes out of the box at ground level and thus must make a 90 degree turn. The hose was kinked at this point as it came out of the box. There is no way to fix the kink. The only possible way this product can be used is if the left side is hung out over a deck or step so the hose can come straight down and make a gradual turn. I went to ACE and got an elbow and some hose clamps to make the turn. No way a customer should have to do that!

Orbit Hose Guide Spike 58189 Review

Indeed the plastic top comes off easily. So either decide where to put them and never move them, or make sure that the soil where you put them is not too firm. Other than that they work well and are fairly unobtrusive, but the flimsy construction is a turn-off in my case.

I love that this doesn't look like a hose reel, but it's poorly designed.We're going to see if we can get our money back.Otherwise we'll just have to chuck it.There's nothing to seal the water connection where it goes into the reel, so more water leaks out of the thing than goes through the hose.It's a piece of junk.Good idea, though.I hope someone else will make a better one.

Suncast Rust Resistant Metal Garden Hose Guide - 2 Pack WHG2PK Review

I bought a set of these because the design looked better than typical hose guides that don't hold the hose in place(you have to zoom in on the image to look at the picture on the packaging to see the design).It does work great, it's easy to drop the hose into the guide and it holds it in place without binding up while you pull it.I've only used them a few weeks but the finish looks sturdy and so far has held up to the trimmer with no signs of rust or wear.I liked it so much I bought 2 more sets.I'm using heavy duty kink resistant 5/8" hose with mine.
