I won this as a door prize and laughed.I figured it would be just something else to sell at the next garage sale, but I thought I'd try it first. I was impressed. It does put out a lot of water (we have 80# pressure) and the large end controls the stream easily. I'm able to adjust the stream from concentrated full force to a fine mist and since it puts out so much water, it cut the time I need to water the flowers in the morning in half. I'm so impressed, I'm buying another for the front yard.
The only thing I didn't like about it was that the on/off seemed backwards to me.You pull back to start the flow and push forward to stop. Also, it is heavy, but at least I don't have to worry about it falling apart like the plastic ones.
Update--Dec 27,2009 -I've now used 2 of these all summer and fall and am still sold. They're great.I was able to reverse the on/off lever by removing the screws and switching the handle to the reverse side of the nozzle as stated in some of the comments and soon found out why it's the way it is.When the nozzle is on the ground, it's very tempting to pick it up using the on/off lever. When the forward position is the OFF position, it's not a problem. When it's reversed and you pick up the nozzle, the handle moves forward (to ON) because of the weight of the hose and you end up getting soaked. It's happened a couple of times to me, so I switched it back to the way it came.I guess they DID know what they were doing.
